Industrial World Online Returns Policy

We allow returns of some Industrial World parts, however some limitations and exclusion apply.

1. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

2. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

3. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • All parts over 30 days old
  • Any parts that have been soiled or damaged
  • Specially modified/machined items.
  • Specially procured items/qty’s not normally stocked by us.
  • Any liquid (oil, grease, paint etc)
  • Seal kits, gasket kits, spring etc that have been opened
  • Hardware (including, but not limited to nuts, bolts, screws etc)
  • Any parts that have been installed on equipment or used
  • Any “sale items” only regular price items can be returned

4. We can refund shipping charges only if the return is a result of our error.

5. Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason. All sale items are final.

Returns process

To return your product, you should:

a) Verify that your item(s) meet our Return Policy.

b) Contact Industrial World support at online@iw.net.au or call 03 5336 1111 to request a return authorization number. (mon-Fri 9am-4pm only)

c) Write the Return Authorization Number on the outside of the package.

d) Send your item to:

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item is shipped in error by us.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact support@iw.net.au or call 03 5336 1111 (mon-Fri 9am-4pm only)

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. We will refund any shipping costs if you need to exchange an item due to it being defective.

Parts Warranty

All parts sold by Industrial World are covered by the OEM warranty. This can vary from product to product.

Please note that Industrial World does not cover shipping / freight charges for warranty items. The cost of returning these items will be at your own expense, and usually any repaired/replaced items under the OEM warranty will also contain a freight charge.

We will work out the best solution based of the product/issue. We may put you in direct contact with the Manufacturer, or we may require you to return to us at your cost.
