Featuring a stainless steel double ball race swivel head contributing to maintenance free life, fitted with an attractive stainless steel thread guard on the 100 and 125mm or plastic thread guards on the 75mm castors these castors can also be fitted to food carts being constantly moved through cool rooms and steamy kitchens and can be hose cleaned. The R5589 from Richmond is a rigid frame castor and uses a nylon wheel. This rigid castor is one of our stainless steel elite plate range and can safely take loads up to 100kg. The R5589 is assembled with plain bearings on the castors axle and is baseplate mount. This castors rigid frame allows for linear movement and steering can be achieved by using in conjunction with swivel castors. The overall nylon wheel diameter is 125mm, the wheel width is 30mm and can be ordered separately (NY5517).
